Le blues est la musique qui exprime toutes les souffrances que le peuple noir à enduré des siècles durant! Paix à l'âme du frère Albert pour sa participation et son génie
this guy is unbelievable
Yes I have always lovet him!! Hes the king of blues!!♥️
This is absolutely amazing national treasure protect at all cost. i was born in 78 and never really venetured into albert king bc i was so into hendrix and Bb king but Albert King is up there with them all !
Important lesson here kids, learn to use the volume (and tone) control on your guitar! 🤓
Albert you are amazing and your guitar playing is truely perfection love you lots ❤❤❤
Study it ..Keep Playing!!!
Still here rocking this '24. Wish SRV was around to keep the fire burning!!
He has no equal.
Learn from this
I love how hes preaching like in the church, this is the real spirit of this music
Damn I feel it with him....this is the best
The studio version was so damn flawless that backing horns players here really got on my nerves at first. They drowned out Albert initially.
Saw Albert at Gilly's Nite Club in Dayton twice and no wonder he was so revered and attained iconic/legendary status...Bad news!
Lessons
what a legend, Albert King is Blues.
Was that intro Bill Graham?
Ain't nobody played the blues like The Albert King! Pure expressive emotion and a raw, low down.......to the nitty gritty, ground....Blues Powerhouse!
My favorite of the Kings
Albert King had some incredible guitar licks. His touch was very subtle. He really knew how to make those strings sing.
Lol was that Bowser?
Bro, this is what i am talkin bout Dual Showman at 10, now all this new gay quad cortex players don't like real man amplifiers coz they're too noisy
I love Albert King he's truely amazing ❤❤❤
If you can't see why SRV loved this man- you have no soul
Love and miss you forever. Albert king 💙
imho, the king of all the Kings.
In the 80's in LA thete was a thing called "The SoCal Blues Society" and they would book a lot of these now passed but legendary blues guys around local LA clubs and what they called "Blues Cruises" in Long Beach harbor. I saw Albert King at a club in WLA called The Music Machine in 1989. I was 22 and there were literally like 20ppl there including the bartender lol.. So out comes Albert all huff & gruff smoking his pipe and keeps telling the soundman to turn him up or else he was going to leave, lol. Me and my buddy are looking at each other like WTF? Then they finally turn him up!!! OMG!! I had seen SRV multiple times by then, Albert Collins, BB, etc but nothing prepared me for this MAN. For the next hour and a half the skin from my face was literally peeled back... Me and my buddy are 35 yrs older now and we still laugh and trip about how lucky we were to see him. Albert King was the greatest blues guitar player ever!! On a side note in 2002 I was in London and I went into the Hardrock Cafe and they had a "Vault Tour". Inside the Vault was one of Albert Kings V's with his name inlayed on the fretboard. They let me hold it : )
One of the best blues performances I've ever watched in my life.
This is all you need..
@2:24 -- The girl and her boyfriend.
Father in Heaven, bless me with peace and comfort in times of trouble. When I am anxious or afraid, fill me with Your serenity. Let me feel Your comforting presence and find solace in Your eternal love.
Amén.
The one and only.
I was at the opening night of the Filmore East - Tim Buckley, Big Brother & the Holding Company AND Albert King !
Only Stevie could hang with the king
That tone, that tone, that tone
Real bluesman walking...in.....SRV idolized Albert....who doesnt...???
Whoever put an ad in the middle of this, yo moms a hoe
I’ve always loved me some Albert King❤
incredible phrasing no flashy solo's just simple perfectly timed phrasing. and that vibrato on par ( even better) than B.B. incredibleQ!!!
Why is this dude looking like he just got out the pool lmao?? Heart issues?
Give him a towel 😂
it something you don't see in preforming "artist" today.. pure emotion , feeling and soul pouring out of him with every note he touches and bends on his guitar.
Pay close attention guitar players and blues lovers who's blues history starts with SRV this is the man where SRV got a huge chunk of his playing , riffs and phrasing from. the man who played lefty , backwards and upside down..his long arching bends and unique metallic " woman like" guitar tone influenced some of the biggest names ..Clapton, Hendrix, Page, Beck, West and countless others.
albert is so hard even his voice is immaculate
Mastery.
Why was he sweating before the first song? Coked up?
Full concert? They sure had no stamina in those days. 14:55 minutes. Jeez.
"Ain't seen my woman in ten long weeks; you know i've got the blues!" Cue blues guitar solo.
Good Lord! Thank you! What a treasure to have found!
This is my 3rd time watching & it gets better every time
Wow he does a great SRV impression.
I feel kind of like a kin to Albert King I play in the same style left-handed in upside down strings reversed
